Once a trouble ticket has been created and assigned to a supplier you can then send them an SMS text message to alert them of work that you would like them to complete. This is a great way of notifying suppliers of jobs as the majority of time they will be out working on a job rather than waiting for an email to inform them of a potential task.
- Trouble Ticket > List Tickets. In this list a mobile icon will be shown alongside entries assigned to suppliers who have the SMS consent flag set, to enable them to be send a text directly from the list.
- Click on the mobile icon to send the supplier an SMS text message about this trouble ticket. By default the ticket number will included along with description of the work to be carried out along with your contact information. This text message can be edited but is also limited to 150 characters.
- To send the text message click on Send Text,
