The first thing to bear in mind is that there can be a lag of several hours, and even up to a day, from when you market your property on Origin until it appears on property portals.
Next, if the property doesn't list the portal or portals to which you subscribe, then it's not going to appear! The list will appear under the Property Portals label within the Details tab of the Property view. If this list simply contains 'None' then it means that the property data isn't set up correctly for property portals. Generally this will be for one of the following reasons:
- The Alert Ind flag is unset in the Summary tab of the Property view
- The Marketing Status is set to 'Do not advertise' in the Details tab of the Property view
- Exclude from Portals? is set to 'Yes' in the Details tab of the Property view
When marketing your property provide as much detail as possible (via the Details tab of the Property view). Most portals will reject your property if the following fields are not populated:
- Rent
- Bedrooms
- Type
Lastly, ensure that you supplied the correct address. An invalid postcode will most likely cause your property to be rejected.
