Although we migrate the core key data records which you need for lettings and property management (properties, landlords, tenants, tenancies, certificates, contractors and recurring charge schedules), many of the supporting materials cannot be easily migrated. However, we are working to enhance this process to extend the range of data migrated automatically.
This isn't peculiar to the Tilt-Arthur migrations; these types of records are traditionally hard to migrate between any systems since they must be attached to core records, and their definitions vary greatly.
PLEASE NOTE: Archived records, past tenancies, and historic transactions are not migrated. You may export this data in CSV format for reference and compliance purposes.
The following types of data are NOT migrated, but we are working on import scripts on a number of these shown in bold. All other data can be exported for backup.
- Notes (in progress)
- Photos and images (in progress)
- Certificate files (in progress)
- Correspondence
- Document and file attachments
- Trouble tickets
- Inspections
- Key codes
- Viewings, diary entries and tasks
- Activity logs and audit trails
- Existing statements
This list is not exclusive, but is representative of the type of "supporting" records associated with the key records which we do migrate. If you have any questions about specific data, please get in touch.
You will continue to have access to your Tilt product until the end of December 2022, so we encourage you to think about downloading this material, and how you will store it long-term.
In the meantime, we are working on a solution to allow you to more easily export these types of data for either long-term storage in your business storage solution of choice (nowadays, typically a cloud storage service such as Dropbox or Google Drive), or to attach these to the appropriate records in Arthur.
