When you confirm your migration order with the Arthur team, Conor from Tilt will be in touch promptly to outline the dates for your individual migration process.
Month 1: Free training and transfer of core data
Month 2: Transfer of financial balances, and integration of Xero or live bank feeds, if applicable
Month 3: Close support from Tilt and Arthur teams to ensure all is running smoothly
The main part of the migration process spans two months, with the third month serving as a comfort blanket to ensure you're fully up to speed and using the Arthur system comfortably and efficiently.
Stage 1 - Transfer of core data
During the first month, when we transfer your core data (landlords, properties, tenants and tenancies) from Tilt to Arthur, you'll continue to pay your subscription to Tilt as normal.
You will need to choose a convenient date to transfer your core data (typically between the 15th and 25th), and you'll continue to manage your financials (receipts and payments) on Tilt until the first of the new month, or the middle of the new month if you require a Xero integration to be configured.
Stage 2 - Transfer of financials
Your financials will be transferred to Arthur on the first day of the second month, typically a 7-10 days after your main migration (stage 1 above).
We will export your closing balances at the end of the previous month on Tilt (i.e. the night before), and import these onto Arthur as your opening balances.
At that stage, we will also transfer your recurring charge schedules, e.g. rents schedules, as well as any recurring property management fees or tenant charges. These typically have a start date, and a recurring frequency, e.g. of the 1st of the month, or 10% each time a receipt is recorded from the tenant. These will start to apply on the first appropriate date following your conversion date.
Limited migration slots each month
We have a limited number of accounts we can migrate each month, so in order to secure your place to transition over to Arthur in the month that suits you best, you should have a chat with the Tilt team as soon as possible.
